I come to this body wash from previously having tried Nivea For Men's 'cool' body wash and hated it due to its drying of my skin making me itch the rest of the day (I realized after looking at the ingredients that alcohol was one). I returned that in favor of this as a man with very sensitive skin. I haven't been more impressed with a body wash in all the different ones that I have tried. Everything about it is exceptional - the scent, the feeling on the skin, the refreshed feeling afterwards.
A glance at the ingredients shows that this body wash has bamboo oil extract and milk protein, both of which are excellent for your skin and can be found in many women's body washes. The scent is pretty good while in the bottle, but once out of the bottle and on your body in the shower it transforms into to most unique and pleasant smell I've ever experienced from a body wash. It doesn't smell like cologne and it doesn't smell like a women's body wash... it is a subtle, masculine scent that invigorates the senses.
Since using this, my skin hasn't felt more comfortable after a shower. It is even gentle enough to wash the face with which I found made my post-shower shave even more relaxed and comfortable. I *highly recommend* this product to any man, whether they have sensitive skin or not. For men like me, whose skin is extremely sensitive and does not tolerate harsh ingredients, this is the body wash for us, there is no need to look further.
5/5 stars and it earns every single one of them.
I bought my bottle at Shaw's and I am aware that Bed, Bath, & Beyond stocks them as well. For whatever reason, Target, Walmart, etc. do not have this variation on the Nivea For Men body washes.

I like it,soap free... It makes soap suds too; many brands don't make soap suds... I have very sensitive skin and like the soap free part...
Smooth, Clean Skin & Smelling Great June 8, 2010

I've been using this body wash for about a year now and just love it. I first purchased it in a brick-and-mortar and instantly loved the way it made my skin feel. I use this in hard water, and it doesn't ever leave my skin feeling anything but clean and smooth. I've also observed a lessening of hard water stains on my shower doors; I'm not having to scrub as hard when I clean my bathroom.
The scent is wonderful - very subtle and masculine, and it doesn't smell like I've washed myself in a cologne bath. You smell it when it's in the bottle and it smells good; after you've washed yourself it smells even better - must be the way the wash behaves with my skin chemistry because I've never found a wash that makes me smell as good. A clean, subtle smell.
Unfortunately, as someone else mentioned, they no longer carry it in brick-and-mortars, but I'm ecstatic that it's available here on Amazon.com. You pay a lot more per bottle for shipping, but the 3-pack is a pretty good deal with standard shipping - it's very worth it to me, and I only have to re-order once every few months.
Nivea, please keep making this body wash. I don't want to use anything else.

I shower twice daily and probably tend to overuse shower gel. That, combined with the fact that south bay humidity isn't the most ideal, my skin often becomes dry and itchy with regular shower gels. I went from using Axe to Axe hydrating, to trying Gillette, Dove etc., and also switching to fragrance-free products not exactly targeted at men, e.g. Aveeno, which I found great but a tad too expensive.
This product seems to be best - it's soap-free, doesn't dry and has a light, pleasant smell.
The only thing I'd like to mention is that the image is different from the current product I received. I think it used to be branded as a shower gel and now is sold as "Hair and Body Wash". Either way, it's still as good, though I recommend using something gentler for hair, like the Wen cleansing conditioner.WEN Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner - 16 oz
Haven't been followed by the ladies like those Axe commercials, but I don't think I was ever expecting that. :)

This is the second bottle of this stuff that I've purchased. I loved the first bottle, felt great on the skin, didn't dry it out, and seemed to leave my skin clean and smooth. The second bottle I purchased must have had an error in manufacturing as the scent is overpowering and actually makes me a bit nauseous. I've stopped using it as the scent seems to stay with me even after extensive rinsing.
