I do not like this soap. It's my own fault for straying from nasabb, but the amazon reviews make it sound like this Dudu-Osun is pretty much the same thing. It is not. What, did they add black dye to the soap?

Cons: Peculiar "sweet" smell (although that might be a pro for some)
The dye. I do not want brown water streaming down my arms. That is SO unnecessary, and seems an affected authenticity--like, "It's called black soap, so make sure it looks black and turns water brown!"

Pros: I'm sure there are some, but I was so put off by the dye that I don't use the soap.

I might liquefy the bar I've already used, put it in a pump and use it as a liquid soap. Meanwhile, it seems a shame to throw the rest away, so if anyone would like five unopened bars of this stuff, just let me know. I will gladly send them to you, no charge. I want rid of it.

I purshased the Dudu Osun Black soap, because I saw the reviews and live in an apt. which has VERY HARD water. I found the soap is effective when showering under hard water, but is VERY MESSY. I would have given this soap 4 stars, but the messiness was so annoying that I give it only 3 stars. Also, the smell of this soap was a little unusual and bothered me after using the 2nd bar.
